Project: Partnership offerings for B2B client

Problem: Long turnaround for their clients

Solution: Semi-customization for better client experience

The first week I was at EggZack after leaving AOL, I was on the road to meet and interview one of our major business partners, Jack Williams tires. Started in 1929 with a $500 loan, Jack Williams now has over three dozen locations regionally. And as tire wholesalers, they want to make their JW-affiliated resellers lives easier.

Enter our partnership. At the meeting with the president of JW, I learned a lot about their clients, and what his perception of their need was. A week later, I was on the showroom for their annual convention, learning that the president was pretty spot-on about need.

So after setting up the EggZack booth with EggZack's CEO and a member of our sales team, I started some informal interviews of the retailers. I heard about the hours to keep the business afloat, the competition in already tight markets, and the need to build client loyalty to their shop, as well as the Jack Williams tire.

We started the partnership with reseller access to a customized site, but the process was time consuming and the turnaround wasn't what they were hoping for. EggZack's product is all about making life easier!

So over the next few months, I worked with our front-end developer, the CEO, and the sales team to come up with some semi-custom templates that can auto-fill every time they update a blog, or social media feed. Definitely a step in the right direction!
